Vision Statement:
To be a catalyst for spiritual revival within the Ethiopian and Eritrean communities in the UK, equipping and empowering believers to effectively share the gospel, leading to a harvest of souls and the flourishing of a Christian movement. We also seek to be a strong bridge, connecting Ethiopian and Eritrean churches across the UK, encouraging them to work together in meaningful ways for the greater good of our communities and the Kingdom of God.
Core Values:
• Evangelism: We prioritise sharing the gospel message with passion and conviction.
• Community: We foster a sense of belonging, unity, and support within our community.
• Excellence: We strive for excellence in all aspects of our event, from planning to execution.
• Cultural Sensitivity: We respect and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Ethiopian and Eritrean communities.
• Authenticity: We remain true to our faith and values in all our endeavours.
• Love: We demonstrate love and compassion for all individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs.
• Service: We serve our community with humility and dedication.
Pharezfest UK is an annual evangelistic event committed to uniting Ethiopian and Eritrean communities across the UK.
As a community-based organisation, we are dedicated to bringing together the younger generation through meaningful events. In the previous years, we have had the privilege of witnessing countless young people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and be filled with the Holy Spirit during these encounters. We aim to create a welcoming environment where individuals can experience the transformative power of God's love through the proclamation of the full gospel, leading to salvation, spiritual growth, and a strengthened sense of community.
• Mediation and Reconciliation: We actively work to resolve internal conflicts, both in individuals’ lives and within the church community, fostering peace and unity.
• Mentoring: We support families and the younger generation, providing emotional guidance and encouragement to those in need.
• School of Life: We equip the younger generation with practical life skills, offering crime awareness programmes, weekly Bible study, and other developmental tools.
• Sports Activities: We promote physical well-being through activities such as football, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle.
• Discipleship: We are committed to nurturing the faith of new believers, walking alongside them as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
• Empowerment: We focus on equipping individuals with the confidence and tools to lead, serve, and make a positive impact within their families, communities, and churches.
• Inclusivity: We embrace diversity, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance, feels welcomed and valued.
